Two little dolls spotted by a tree. These are spooky to me.

Bags for the homeless

Ok I admit there is nothing special about this crappy shot but it's what the shot was actually about. These are bags that are going out to homeless of Little Rock. There is also a coat that goes with each bag. It was just a small project my home group for church is doing.

Church

This is what it looks like at church early on Sunday morning. Normally I'm not there at early but I made some changes to the art used during the service and I wanted to load it before everyone started arriving.

365/3 Downtown Little Rock, Arkansas

For day three of my 365 project I was bound and determined to get back to downtown Little Rock to shoot the fountain at the courthouse square. I had even charge up a spotlight to back light it but after work today when we drove by it was lit up!

Did a couple of long Exposure to pick of the movement of the cars.

There is something magic about ice, lights, and nighttime.

Enjoy!

Building for kids

This is the view out of my office window. It's a massive crane that is on the other side of the hospital. They are building new wings to Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Nothing outstanding about this shot but it just inspires me to work hard as a recruiter so we'll have good staff to fill it when it's completed.

365/ Day 1

Day 1 - Morning snow

Ok I just committed to this. It's a project a lot of photographers do called the "365 Project". The idea is to take or post a photo a day. So there you go. Everyday will be a different photo and hopefully one that I had taken that day.

So the snow started last night and came along lightly off and on through the night. We got up this morning to a dusting whereas just a little to the east had 3 inches. Of course this dusting of snow shut the schools down. Our street really did have snow but the downtown Little Rock area had zero on the streets but the schools were still closed.

When I went out to lunch there was hardly any left anywhere. Weather folks say more real stuff coming on Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

So welcome to my 365... life is good.
